It's make or break time for television shows on the bubble.
While some networks have already announced renewals for the 2014-2015 season (Congrats, Vampire Diaries! Way to go, Arrow! Nice work, Shameless!), most will wait until this spring to make such lineup decisions.
Many shows are yet to receive any word, yet all Gladiators out there can rest assured, for example: Scandal isn't going anywhere.
But what about those stuck in the middle?
The performances of the following programs over the coming week will play a key role in their survival, as we've attached some odds to various dramas and comedies whose fans can only pray they find a spot on the 2014-2015 schedule...
1. Hart of Dixie
It's cute, it's sweet, it's harmless fun... but it's moving to Fridays. That's never a sign of network confidence. Odds: 75-1.
2. Beauty and the Beast
The Beasties are a loyal bunch. But the numbers simply aren't there. Odds: 150-1.
3. The Tomorrow People
The Tomorrow People has enjoyed steady ratings, but not especially strong ratings for The CW. Odds: 15-1.
4. Dracula
Dracula finished off its first season on NBC. Will it get a second season? Odds: 1,000,000-1.
5. Community
Community doesn't draw in a lot of viewers, but it actually outrates most other NBC sitcoms. Odds: 15-1.
6. Revolution
Revolution has lost a lot of momentum in Season 2, along with many fans. Odds: 35-1.
7. Grimm
Grimm is a steady Friday night drama for NBC. Odds: 5-1.
8. Enlisted
It's sad but true: Enlisted has not found its audience on Friday nights. Odds: 40-1.
9. Rake
Are you aware Rake is even on? That's what we thought. Odds: 5,000-1.
10. The Mindy Project
Ratings for The Mindy Project are yet to take off. But the show has a loyal fan base and solid online following. Odds: 15-1.
11. Almost Human
Almost Human is scarcely drawing viewers on Fox. Odds: 100-1.
12. Intelligence
Intelligence might be a hit on NBC, but it's numbers are terrible for CBS. Odds: 300-1.
13. The Mentalist
The Mentalist has solved the riddle of Red John. Will fans follow the next mystery? Odds: 12-1.
14. The Crazy Ones
Will The Crazy Ones be the one new Thursday night sitcom to stick around at CBS? Odds: 8-1.
15. Trophy Wife
Trophy Wife is wildly underrated. But will it get a chance to prove itself on Season 2? Odds: 25-1.
16. Super Fun Night
Super Fun Night has been a disaster for ABC. But we still adore Rebel Wilson. Odds: 500-1.
17. Nashville
Nashville featured Connie Britton and a lot of fun music. So why isn't it a bigger hit? Odds: 5-1.
